Jennifer
Tetlow has undertaken a number of private and public commissions
and would be delighted to hear from you if you have an interest in
discussing
a specially made piece of sculpture.
THE PROCESS
Commissioning a piece of work is a
very unique and personal process.
Jennifer Tetlow understands the responsibility of the artist in this
partnership
and works closely with customers in realising their ideas.
After initial discussions, and once the nature
and size of the piece
is decided upon, Jennifer Tetlow will submit drawings and
quotations
of the proposed sculpture for approval.
Subsequently, if appropriate, a small clay
maquette incorporating her
ideas, will be produced.
When the drawings and (if required), a
maquette, are agreed upon, a suitable
block of stone will be obtained for carving, and the creation of the
sculpture
will begin.
At this stage a 25% deposit will be payable,
the balance being due upon
completion of the commission.
