If you have any ideas of what you would like to carve on the course then you are welcome to bring these with you, whether these are in sketch form or a small model. If you have no real ideas then that is fine, as you can wait until you have selected your stone and worked with some of the tools before committing yourself.

Tools are available for use during the course. The price of the stone is not included, but may be purchased from the workshop at cost.

You will be working in a dusty environment so practical work clothes and footwear are recommended. Protective glasses or goggles and dust masks are provided, though please bring your own gloves if you like to wear them.
