Stone Carving Courses 2014

Starting to carve the badger

Making a start on the block of stone

My first Stone Carving Course for next year is already fully booked, and as I’m receiving more enquiries, I’ve added further dates for Spring 2014.  Thankyou everyone for your enthusiasm!

So, if you’ve always wanted to try your hand and put chisel to stone, there are places available on my next two day stone carving course.  If you would like to learn the art of letter-cutting in stone, instead of the carving, you can attend on one or both of these days.  Just let me know.

Two Day Stone Carving – April 26th and 27th, 2014  in Lastingham, 10 am – 4 pm.

I think I have all the details for you on my Courses page, but if you have any queries, or would like more information, please get in touch.

The images here are a piece being carved by a very clever lady on one of my previous courses – it is  a lump of Portland Limestone, which she (very beautifully) carved into a badger.

There are some Stone Carving Course dates for the Autumn too if you’re unable to make it in April.

Already you get a sense of this badger snoofling for food

Look forward to carving with you in 2014.
